IPAF MEWPs For Managers Training Course
Hydraulic Platform (MEWP) Manager Training
A one day training course (typically 8.30am to 4.30pm) for anyone in your organisation that manages, plans, organises or supervises the use of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) .
The Work at Height Regulations, introduced in April 2005 places a clear duty on all employers to ensure that all work at height is properly planned, which includes a thorough assessment of the risks involved, and selection of suitable equipment. It also requires that anyone who plans, supervises or carries out work at height must be competent to do so.
Using our tried and tested blend of classroom-based theory and hands-on experience, your managers and supervisors can develop an increased awareness of the legal implications of MEWP selection and use, together with the correct planning and risk assessment/control procedures necessary.
