HSE & PASMA Work Together On Latest Tower Guidance

The fourth revision of the HSE's Construction Information Sheet No.10 is now available as a free download (copyright restrictions apply) from the HSE website.

Produced in close collaboration with PASMA, the revised guidance note contains some sound basic advice for users of prefabricated mobile access towers, together with supervisors and managers.

Details about the two new recommended and approved methods of assembling, altering, and dismantling towers are included, using illustrations taken from PASMA's latest "Don't Fall For It" video on the same subject.

The four page document also includes sections on:

• Using the Tower
• Moving the Tower
• Inspection and Reports
• Protecting the Public

A worthwhile download that will prove to be particularly useful for those with a current PASMA qualification who want to upgrade their knowledge to include the latest best practice.
