Kingfisher Are Again Exhibiting At Vertikal Days 2009

Kingfisher Access will again be displaying its innovative package of training courses and inclusive safety kits for working at height at this years Vertikal Days at Haydock Park on Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th June 2009.

Emergency evacuation from boom type elevating work platformNew for 2009 is our Emergency Evacuation System which will be demonstrated hourly at the show, this innovative system allows an operator stranded in an elevated position to safely lower himself to the ground under his own control in a wide variety of applications. The compact system incorporates a friction descent devices which, combined with a full body safety harnesses, descent is controlled by simply applying finger pressure to the tubular webbing, the ability to slow or stop at any time allows the person to negotiate any obstacle below them and descend to the ground safely.

Suitable applications include boom type MEWP's, mast climbing work platforms, suspended cradles, mechanical handling equipment, tower cranes, scaffolding, steelwork, order pickers, onshore and offshore Wind Farms and buildings.

Versions are available for heights from 10 metres up to 80 metres.

It can also be supplied as a rescue kit.
