PASMA Training: Advanced Course Module 2

Cantilever Access Towers

By the addition of suitable couplers and 25Kg weights it is possible to use standard tower components to produce a cantilever which will allow access to areas which cannot be reached with conventional towers. Cantilevers can be built on the long or short side of towers.

This one-day course, designed to instruct up to 8 delegates covers the safe assembly, use, dismantling, inspection and reporting of the three main types of Cantilever Access Towers:

• Counterweighted
• Ground Supported
• Ceiling Supported

*PASMA courses are designed for mobile access towers manufactured in aluminium alloy or fibreglass, approved to BS1139 part 3 1994 (HD1004) and which carry a current British Standard or other equivalent mark of approval

Availability / Location

Because of the specialised components and facilities needed to run this course, it is normally only available at our Upminster Training Centre.

Certification

Successful candidates will receive a PASMA Certificate Of Competency and Photo-ID Card.

Prequalification

This advanced course is only available to candidates who already hold a current PASMA Standard card.
